I'm trying to set up security access rights for a single Access dbase in a network enviroment (LAN), and am having problems setting it up correctly. My end result was that all Access dbases were impacted on my system. Each required my password and held the same object restrictions. I believe I'm not setting up my User & Group Account up correctly, but I'm not certain. I"ve used the security wizard but it gets a bit confusing at the end. Are there books on this subject or can someone gentley guide me through it. My boss is expecting this miracle tomorrow. Yikes......

I would like to set restrictions on all users so they can't modify or delete objects or data from the table.

I'm open to ANY suggestions.

Thanks,
Monique

Seems you've defined a password in system.mdw instead of a personal one.

Hope This Help, PH.
