Has anyone seen this error before and if so, what is the resolution?? The error is from Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on W2K. MSExchangeMTA - Directory Access - Event ID 9330. "An error occurred reading a value from the directory. A call to DS_WAIT() has returned the error 44." This event was found in the app. event log immediately following a reboot of the server. The reboot was prompted by this error also found in the app. event log and the server running extremely slow.
"The data buffer created for the "MSExchangeDS" service in the "C:\EXCHSRVR\bin\perfdsa.dll" library is not aligned on an 8-byte boundary. This may cause problems for applications that are trying to read the performance data buffer. Contact the manufacturer of this library or service to have this problem corrected or to get a newer version of this library." from Perflib event ID 1016.
Does anyone have any idea what the cause of these errors might be and how to fix it?
Thanks.
