MSWord cant send email

I'm using an xp office suite and when I use Microsoft Word as my text editor I receive an error message stating "Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." 1. Send 2. Don't send...

When I take Word off as my text editor it works and I have tried repairing and re installing the office suite.

Has this happened to anyone else? Would appreciate any idea's how to use Word as my text editor again.

Turns out that the problem was with an image in the signature file. The user had an olympic and corporate logo in this file that had somehow gone corrupt. Once we took this out of the signature file Outlook worked fine in Word again.
