MSWC.PermissionChecker

I am trying to write a script that reads folder permissions. I have found some information about MSWC.PermissionChecker object but when I run the script the first line:
Set Permissions = CreateObject("MSWC.PermissionChecker")
throws an error: ActiveX Component can't create object: "MSWC.PermissionChecker"
Anyone know anything about MSWC? Or dose anyone know a good way to check folder permissions on files? I am trying to run through folders checking if certain users have certain permissions.

Use XCACLS from Microsoft and you can dump all permissions to a file that you can quickly and easily search.

For me, the MSWC.PermissionChecker object is available only in ASP under IIS.

XCACLS is a cool tool, thanks for pointing me to that. Is there anyway to output the search results to a file?

Yes, use whatever command you want with a dump command, ie:

xcacls c:\windows >c:\exportfile.txt
