I'm currently following along with a lab for school to create unattended installations on Virtual PC. When I was told within the virtual machine menu to Select the Floppy menu, then select Capture Floppy Disk image, then to browse to the folder that contains the virtual machine machine files and fine 70_271_Floppy.vfd file it was not there.

I have looked through me own computer to see if I can find any indication of a virtual Floppy drive, but it appears that I have had no luck quiet yet.
Any clues?

In the main Virtual PC window, click the 'Settings' button for your VM and select the 'Hard Disk 1' item. On the right you will see the path to the VHD file. According to your instructions, the VFD file you need should be in the same folder.

If it's missing then you'll need to ask your instructor where to find it.

That seems to work. I eventually figured it out after I was messing around with it, but I seemed to have opened up a new can of worms. Yesterday, Virtual PC seemed to be working just fine for me, but today out of the blue it won't boot up. The Microsoft Virtual PC small window pops up, but then it stops responding. Last thing I was doing with it was trying to create an answer file for unattended installations, so that I wouldn't need to create the primary partition it would just do it itself, but today I can't get it to boot up
