MST Trace on SIP Trunk for Failed VDN Display on Digital Phones

PBX is 6.0 - This is an MST trace on incoming call over SIP trunk. The problem is the VDN does not display on 64xx Digital Sets.
VDN Display works fine on all IP phones. They found that something is adding extra couple of spaces (the underscores highlighted in red below)
If we route the calls over traditional PRI, the VDN display is fine on both set types, and the MST trace does not show the underscores before the VDN name.

Any idea what is causing the extra characters? (The SIP provider confirmed they are not sending extra characters.)
- One note, I can get the VDN to display if I add 0 seconds waiting hearing music in the vector. It does not work with hearing silence or ringback.

Personally i have not heard of this but it sounds like a typical bug , have you tried shortening the vdn name too see if that helps , that said with you adding the wait command that kind of points to number presentation from the provider but your ip sets get the name fine so logic dictates that is not the case.

What is your hardware platform type and firmware levels ??

Have you checked you are on the latest firmware on everything and looked at bug fixes on the versions of R6 above yours as if it has been identified it will be documented in the release doc or on a pcn, if you are not on the latest version , upgrade platform , cm , gatewayH248 or IPSI,CLAN`S,MEDPRO patch everything and ensure your sets have the latest compatible firware, someone else may have come across this and if they have will no doubt assist , but I would be interested to know the outcome ,,,,,, my money is on that little bug though!!

Hi Montyzummer,

Yes we have tried shortening the VDN name. The version is: R016x.00.1.510.1 (Latest SP 10 was installed).
They are up to date on firmware for IPSI and MedPro. I still need to do CLAN and DS1 boards. The phone I'm testing with is 6416 with TN2224CP FW 015 (pretty much latest). FW016 I don't think will change anything for them. Maybe the CLAN or DS1's will, I will update you when those are done. Thank you for the ideas! - Toni
