I've seen a lot of posts lately on Avaya's MSP extortion policy. Most people with large systems need MSP's on a daily basis but many smaller system just require the occasional busyout/release of a station or trunk.
Just wanted to remind people without MSP's that you can X a station port out and put the original port right back in which accomplishes the same thing as a busy/release. Same deal with a hung trunk, you can remove the member, then add the member right back in. Just a tip for those left high and dry without MSP's.
