MSN Messenger

What causes MSN Messenger to disconnect when you are downloading something, surfing the net, or opening any
other programs? As long as I am not doing anything else
I don't have a problem with it. It is so frustrating not
to be able to work on the computer and talk on MSN Messenger
at the same time. I would love to know how to fix this
problem.

Well, unfortunately, I don't think there is any straightaway solutions for this. The reason MSN Messenger gets disconnected while downloading is that 'coz Messenger keeps on checking the MSN server ever few seconds and while downloading the major part of the bandwidth(especially Dial-up) is taken for downloading the files. So, it gets disconnected.

If you are using, any software to download like DAP etc, u can set the download bandwidth to low.
