MSN Instant Messaging with Exchange 2000

I installed Exchange 2000 server, Exchange System Management, and Exchange Instant Messaging on a Windows 2000 Advance server. I then configured Instant Messaging and installed the client on a Windows 2000 Proffesional machine. The IM client I created using active directory and activated the IM configuration. When I try to connect to the server I get the following message; "Logon to Microsoft Exchange Instant messaging failed because of a problem connecting to the service." I can not figure out why I'm getting this message. Please help. Thank You

can you connect on port 25 to the exchange server on this machine !

I can only show the door, your the one that has to open it !
