MSL6000 Device being seen as MSL5000 in AS2000 SP5

Hello

We have a Win2k server which had a problematic MSL5026 device. This has been removed, and replaced with a 6000 and the server rebooted. However AS still sees the old 5026. A reinstall of AS has not helepd the problem.

HP Library and Tape Tools can see the device correctly, just not Arcserve which then results in the inventory just hanging on Updating.

Can somoene help?

Did you re-configure the library in ARCserve? Run the TLO Setup again and if the drives assign ok, then re-run the Tape Engine.
