Hi, I have just installed XP to find out that my java applets wont run in internet explorer because the MSJVM is missing. I have downloaded the SUN JRE and that gets most of the applets working. However I still have one very important Applet that wont work. Does anyone know how I can install the MSJVM again as opposed to debugging and rewriting my applet to work for the Sun machine?
Many thanks in advance.

MSJVM will not be supported in the very near future for legal reasoning between Sun and M$, so I recommend not seeking it's resolution at all.

check here for transistion concerns, questions etc..

Thanks for that. However, I do have quite a few clients that currently rely on this Applet and I'm hoping to rewrite it soon to work with Suns java. Until I get around to that I do need to give my clients a temporary solution. Any other suggestions will be welcome.

I believe you whould try to write in cmd line jview or wjview. If there exist such commands then the MS JVM exist there. But Microsoft has .NET environment that intends to replace MS JVM.
