I have created a MSI that is being installed on 4 of five site perfectly. But on one site the MSI wont install with group policy.

Tried creating a Seperate GPO just to install this one MSI on this ONE site but that doesnt work either. MSI installs manually just fine.

the MSI that comes with norton Corp installed just fine on this 1 problem site but no MSI i create using WININSTALL will install. 0/2 on custom MSI packages on this one site. All other site install the MSI just fine.

Only thing different with this one site is it has a file server/email server where all other site just have a DC.

Any ideas?

Does it have a different service pac installed?
Have you tried stopping the email service temporarily to see if that was it?

This would be easier to troubleshoot if you enable userenv logging on a machine that should be getting the package.

In regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Create a new DWORD called UserEnvDebugLevel. Set it to a hex value of 10002. Then log in a a user that should get the package. The log file is created in %windir%\debug\usermode\userenv.log.

If you want, you can email me the userenv.log file.
