Hey,
We have two Exchange 2k servers both with SP3, one server keeps reporting the following, event ID: 12002 error, Error occurred while processing message <> from. The from line changes to different addresses, like from Aol, Hotmail or any internet based address.
When I recieve a message from one of these address with an attachment and I try and open the message I get a popup box saying, "Can't open this item. You do not have sufficient permission to perfrom this operation on this object". This will then cause another 12002 error in the Exchange event log. If I copy this message to a personal folder or to the desktop I can open it. This issue is consistant with all messages with attachments comming from the internet. If I recieve a message without an attachment I can open it, but If I try and forward the message I get a popup box saying "operation failed".
Heres the part I've been struggling with. This is only happening to mailboxes located in one store. There is another store within the same storage group that is fine. I have been using Outlook 2000 to test all this, but If I use Outlook or Outlook Express configured for IMAP everthing works fine. Any Idea's ?
