Hello!
After a system crisis Windows 95B was reinstalled followed by IE4, then Office 2000 with IE5, then IE5.5. With IE5.5, Acive Server Pagers (asp.exe and PWS) and Ms Data Access 2.1 setups, I keep getting failure to register
\program files\common files\system\ole db\msdatt.dll and
msdasql.dll failed to register.
I use drumbeat 2000 ecom, website pro 2.0 and access to develop asp pages for people (cheaply too!) and this combination worked but after the reinstall (windows directory corrupted) I can not access Access through ASP anymore. "ADODB Connection Error 800A0e7a Provider not found" Appears in any Access recordset asp page.
I ran a odbc trace - drumbeat application appears and it accesses data successfully and convdsn (???) list datasources.
I have rummaged thru Microsoft, here, and tried various reinstall combinations but I can not work out what is missing. Any ideas?
This all started with a ctl3d32.dll version conflict
Thank you very much for your time
