MSBlast Shutsdown before i can log in

Hi Still having probs with this one downloaded the FixBlast.exe from symantec - But cant log on pc before Msblast shuts it down - have tried bringing it up in safe mode with command prompt - The only way i can get to dos mode is by win2000 setup disk and bringing it into recovery console but the fixblast does not run in that mode - Is there a Dos based fix file out there. Have tried to search for files MsBlast, Penis, Teekids but cant find - think its a reg entry - Have got another disk which Boots up ok and scanned virus infected drive d: but found nothing - If you have two drives can you edit another reg file (in my case on the d

You can delete files in the system folder using recovery console. Msblast.exe normally lives in \winnt\system32 - so just delete it using recovery console & should boot ok next time.

Theres no msblast.exe file on the d: (infected disk) Its a wierd 1

Does the shutdown-A command work when typed at a safe mode command prompt ?

This is the only way I can think of for preventing the virus doing its evil business.
