I got a Facility Manager for a large clinic and he was wanting a spreadsheet made of all the facility equipment.(air units, generators, boilers, chillers, etc)
I told him Excel should be good for that, but then he added that he would also want to see when these items were bought, serviced, preventive maintenance preformed, etc.
I said we need a database. Unfortunately, I am not real good with MSAccess, I looked thru Microsoft Template web page a found an ok Asset Inventory template and I can probably tweak it to do what he wants.
I really don’t want to re-invent the wheel but I’m sure there are businesses doing this already and I was wondering how?
Are they using MSAccess or is there software out there that can do this already?
Thanks in advance
