I have a program that was written for NT4 Server that uses MSACCESS. The only way I could get this running was to load a full copy of VB5. If I installed MSACCESS 97 the program wouldn't run. The program is about 7 years old. I now want to run in on WIN2K but loading VB5 is not working. I think a later ODBC driver upsets it i.e that is why MSA 97 didn't run it. Has anyone else come across this, or does anyone know how to uninstall the Access driver that are loaded by default for WIN2K

As a stab in the dark I'd say you need to install the VB (6?) runtime files.

Do a Google for download location.

Thanks Guys, I find the issue. It appears that windows NT4 sets different values for some of the setting of the 2.5 odbcj.dll than Win2K. I went into the reg and check it all out and made my Win2K reg values match my NT4 values and it all worked.
