ms sql server 2k 'Desktop' and 'Personal' editions

Anyone familiar with Microsoft's 'Personal' and 'Desktop' editions for SQL Server 2000? My company is looking into getting one of these for our catalog on cd, and I need some advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(btw, I've been looking through Microsoft's documentation about these editions, but I want to talk to someone that has used them)
