Hi

I have a problem with my MS SQL policy regarding retention.

In the policy I want to have one schedule for my daily backup and one for my weekend backup.

I want to have a retention on the daily backup of 5 weeks and I want to have a retention on the weekend backup of 3 months

I do the same on my normal Windows backups and it works fine. (not the same policy)
But on the MS SQL backups all backups end up with a retention of 5 weeks regardless of the 3 month on the weekend schedule.

I can see that NBU must be taking the retention from the Default-Application-Backup (having 5 weeks retention)

All backups are full, Master, media and client is NBU 5.1 MP2 and Master and media are running on Win2003 server

Can anyone help me with this (for me) strange problem.

/johnny
