Hi All,

I was browsing for pricing for MS SBS 2003 (Premium Edition) and I noticed that some says "OEM", some are "Complete Package" and some doesn't even tell. Can anyone please tell what the difference between them? Can somebody also recommend some store that offers reasonable price. The lowest price I found was $1,299 w/ 5CAL.

Thanks.

FCCC,

Complete package, you can get Microsoft tech support. OEM, you are on your own if you have a problem. OEM is the OS that comes loaded on a new computer sold by a MFG. like DELL, Gateway. They have to give you tech support.

Check out Ebay. I got myself Server 2000 and 2003 for a good price.

Just a suggestion if you need to buy a OS.

Call Westborne Distribution on 0208 977 2207 and ask for the best price for OEM ( they are one of the few who can sort you out with a good price around london without having to go through Ebay , speccially if you need an invoice.)

Franco.
