MS scheduled backup won't run/finish

I have a scheduled backup setup within Windows backup service. If I create and run the backup one time without scheduling it for multiple runs, it will finish fine. If I create and schedule it to run on a reocuring schedule it won't create the backup. It starts if I right click the job and tell it to 'Run'. The job flashes that it is running and stops in a few seconds. The backup is never created.
I am sure I have run these jobs in the past and even have a couple that run now regularly to completion. I cannot get any new ones to run.

Try editing your backup schedule by removing the /N and /D tags (each is followed by a name so get rid of them too) and make sure that you are using /UM. If these changes don't work please post your backup command from the scheduled task.
