MS Publisher 2003 Errors & Problems???

I use Windows XP and MS Office 2003 Professional. It came with a demo version of Publisher 2003. I used it (Publisher) a few times to do a newsletter and began getting error messages. I did not know it was a demo version. The error messages (I sent to Microsoft) said I needed to purchase the full version. I bought the full version and installed it today, but it still runs "funny". It does not allow anything inserted in the top three inches of the page. When I try to print preview I get an error message "the instruction at "0x31e48ae9" reference memory at "0x0130f098" the memory could not be read" and the program shuts down. Also, every time I open Publisher from the desktop, I get a dialog box stating "please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Publisher 2003". I uninstalled the demo version before installing the full version. I even uninstalled MS Office 2003. I restarted my computer after the install. I had my antivirus turned off during the install. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get Publisher to run properly? Thanks everyone, Larry
