OK, I have a user who is using Outlook2K running on WindowsNT 4.0. Yesterday she noticed that on some messages in her inbox, when she double-clicks them to read the message, she cannot close the open window using the X button in the upper-right corner. She has to go to File-close to close the window. I have never seen this before. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the dimmed-X (at first I thought there was a pattern, such as only forwarded msgs, or only msgs that were sent to 2+ recipients, but it seems to be random). We don't use any forms or anything like that.

Very strange. Has anybody ever seen this before? Thanks!
