MS Office Apps Opening Minimized

This just stared happening and I dont know what I changed to do it. All my ms office apps open minimized and I have to maximize them manually. Does anybody have any ideas. I'm running Windows 2000 professional and Office 2000 SP1

Hello,
Try opening up the program, maximize it and go File on the menu then Exit to close instead of closing with the X. This will make the program open to maximium the next time it is opened.

Your Office apps probably are not "minimized" - they are probably a "restored" size. Problem is that they are off the screen so you can't see them so you think they are minimized.
To fix it,
1. choose the application on the task bar.
2. Press Alt-spacebar. You should see the Window control menu of the application.
3. Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, arrow down to "Move".
4. Press Enter.
5. Press the down arrow key 4 or 5 times.
6. Press Enter.
7. You should now see the application in a "restored" window.
