Hi,

We are a small ISP that hosts about 40 small web sites on a single web server. Everything is working fine, but we would like to have some kind of redundancy.

We saw there was mscs wich gives active/passive, but we would prefer to have something active/active so we can add some servers as the load increases.

We setted up everything and it works fine. Our only concern is file replication.

Customers uses counters that writes to txt files, there are a lots of access databases so if we load balance we need to make sure content is the same on all nodes, etc.

I was wandering if there is a way to make it work... There are a lot of ISP on the market that does offer a/a confgurations, but I don't understand how they can achieve that.

Is the only solution using a SAN to make sure the contents are ok ? 1- its expensive, 2, what about files that stays locked ?

If anyone could help me with this, I would really appreciate, I'm kinda desesperate lol :)
