Hi, I am trying to concatenate two rows of data. The first contains dates in the formay dd/mm/yy the second contains times in the format hh:mm. The trouble is that when concatenated I am unable to present the result in a dd/mm/yy hh:mm format and I guess this is because concatenate only works with text and numbers. Anyone get an idea's around this as there are simply too many rows to edit each on individualy.

Thanks,

Justin

If you have proper date and time values - you deal with integer and fractional numbers.
To concatenate date and time simply add them (=A1+B1) and format the result as one of listed in date or, time, or use user defined format.

Combo,

Thankyou...this works absolutely fine and has saved me a great deal of time.

Start duly awarded as you have helped me out of a hole!
