Hi all,

Is there any way to have MS CRM calculate the tax for each product automatically (it's always 21%)?
Now, manually calculating the tax for each product takes a lot of time when creating large quotes..

tnx!

Hi

I know you posted sometime ago but in case you haven't solved your problem here is a possible answer: In the Quote Product, and/or Order Product and/or Invoice Product forms create a new drop down pick list with a value saying "Calculate Tax". When the user clicks this this automatically updates the total amount column. You have to add an If statement to ensure the net amount field is not null - close the window if it is with a message telling the user to click save before calculating the tax. However I couldn't find any way to update the Freight tax field. I could update the gross amount field but when I clicked Save the tax field would revert back to zero. However we process our freight tax in another program. However automatically calculating the tax on each product saves us a lot of time. Give it a go and see how you get on.
