MS Backup - Can't find blank media in Travan tape drive 1

Does anyone know how I can make MS Backup on Win2k Server locate the media in a Travan 40 tape drive?

The drive work with Tapeware but can't get it to work with MS Backup.

The drive is listed as an option to backup to within MS Backup though.

You are referring to ntbackup right?
I've been through this as the customer lost his seagate backup software and decided to use ntbackup.
I believe I did this tip and also added the /um switch to the end of the backup command in Task Scheduler.
