MS Access97: Asks for username/password at startup 1

One of my users has this problem. As soon as they try to open Access97 a box opens up asking for a username and password. This happens as soon as access is opening. Nothing works and the user can not get past this point.

It appears that somebody set the password for the default user Admin. The System.mdw file contains this information. You might try replacing the user's System.mdw file with yours or from the original installation disk (make sure you backup or rename the user's System.mdw file before doing this in case something goes wrong).

Maybe the workgroup has been changed to a different mdw, if so use wrkgroup administrator to change it back to the local system.mdw
