How can I get the "Search" feature of a database built in Access to search for data that includes spaces? Here's an example of what won't search "Del Gaddo" or "Mac Smith". It won't locate names written with spaces. It won't find DelGaddo or Delgaddo or MacSmith or Macsmith. Please help with a code that will make the search feature in Access find this type of criteria. Thanks!

I assume that you mean the "Find" tool when you are displaying a table. If so, set the "Match:" drop down to "Any part of field" and it will find fields containing spaces.

Thanks Golom! It is currently set to "Any Part of Field" and will find names like John, Johnson, Sanjohn; but won't find San John, or St. John. The space seems to be an issue. I will await additional suggestions. Thanks again!
