I am trying to create a replica of a MS Access data base onto a web site. I can use DOS FTP and WS-FTP or CUTE-FTP, but the error message within Access is Cannot connect to the FTP server on the computer named. I have tried a variety of configurations and names but nothing works.
ie. ftp.app-chemltd.co.uk or app-chemltd.co.uk
It seems simple but it won't play the game - one thing - how do you determine the port - which should be 21. It does dial up but it then says 'the folder is not available'.
