I was hoping someone with Access experience could point me in the right direction. :)

We have an upcoming weekend event with passes available to purchase online.

As the tickets are sold on-line, I would like to bar code and datebase each ticket before mailing them the buyer.

What steps would I take in creating an Access data base to read the bar code and pull up the events?

So when a person comes to the event and present's their prepaid pass, the barcode can simply be scanned and pull up from the data base all the events that they paid for online.

We have 5 events with 3 diffrent ticket prices.

I thank u in advance! :)

What hardware are you using to read the barcodes? How will it interface with you application?

I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it.

Also, if you do searches in the ACCESS FORUMS you'll find info on bar code scanning.

Cool I did not see the Access forum. I will begin my search there. Thanks :)
