Do many of you utilize the Access user authentication and permissions method for securing your multi-user databases?

If so, why?

If needed/desireable, but not used, why?

What's the average number of users in your multi-user database(s)?

Dave,

So many questions at once.

Of course we do. I use Access security always because :

1. It is useful to know who is using the database.
2. It does provide good security.
3. It is good practice.

Even in cases where you think it is not required, you should use it. You can have null passwords and embed the profile in the users' shortcut.

Number of users can vary from 2 to 22.

Hope this helps.
