Hallo,
I have this stored procedure in ms access that I would use to display data. I'm using the "Replace" function. When I run the query in ms access everything works fine, but when I call it through my aspx page it will tell me "Undefined function 'Replace' in expression."... what am I missing?

thanks for suggestions

replace isn't a built in function is aspx. (that's only my guess, but it seems likely)...

you'll either have you build a replace in aspx, or not use it, or use native, aspx, functions as a compromise...

is it possible to replace specific string before displaying them in a datalist, using a oledbdatareader?

Do you have an hint for that? thanks

I have no idea, I've never touched aspx before, I suggest you ask in the ASP forum...

Maybe there's even a native replace function in there, but called a differen't name, but I can't promise anything...
