In MS Acess, how do I explode 1 table with multiple columns into 1 table with multiple rows? thanks
This:
1 KEY1 aaa bbb ccc ddd etc...
2 KEY2 aaa bbb ccc

into this:

1 KEY1 aaa
2 KEY1 bbb
3 KEY1 ccc
4 KEY1 ddd
5 KEY2 aaa
6 KEY2 bbb
7 KEY2 ccc

Take a look at:

Oops. Just reread your post. I gave you the reference to concatenate. You want to un-cancatenate.

Have a look at UNION query.

Hope This Helps, PH.
