MS Access Error:: HELP::::HELP:::

Hey guys/gals, at my work we are using Access and have been getting an error that says "The ADP file is not a correct format for Microsoft Access." Now, everyone says, switch from access however, the business is not switching to a SQL Server or FoxPro so I have to fix this problem. After this error message occurs, the .MDB file goes from 7000KB to 11KB which leads me to believe that there is no information in there anymore. It would be great to open it up and see but I cannot because I will get a lovely error message. It must be something with the program.........Someone HELP
