What is the best SQL platform to convert MS Access 97 to? I already have pervasive sql and wanted to see if it is possible to add my access tables to pervasive. If so what step do I need to take?

Pervasive requires DDF files (data dictionary files) which I don't think there is a tool currently to transfer an Access file to Pervasive and automatically create the DDF files. So you would probably have to create the DDF files using the Pervasive Control panel or a 3-rd party program and then import the data into Pervasive. One tool that could help you in this respect is BtSearch at You could export your Access data to dbase then use BtSearch to import that into the Btrieve file which you would have already created. Gil
