I have MS Office 2003.. but for some reason everytime i try and open a blank database it shows up in 2000 file format. Is this suppose to happen.. Puhleaze help

I know that by default, Access 2002 saved all dbs as 2000 format for efficiency's sake.
I don't know about 2003, but you might look under Tools > Database Utilities > Convert Database > what format is present? Do you have the option to change it? If so, do it to your preference.

That's what I was getting at. As far as I know, everything after Access 97 the dbase hasn't changed.

thank you for the tip... it was the tools database utility blah blah thing. lol. i have only worked in 2000 and 97 so i didn't know what wuz going on.. tyvm!!!
