I have a W2K system with a Canon C555 Multipass printer. I upgraded to SP4 and now the printer is having problems. When I reboot I get errors saying it is unable to start the multipass server and that it failed to start the Multipass status monitor. I can go into computer management and start the MPService manually without any problems. The startup type is set to automatic.

Any suggestions would be greatly appeciated.

I emailed Canon about this problem and they told me to set the recovery action for the MPService to "restart the service" for first failure, second failure and subsequent failures but it did not help.

Does anyone have any input on this?
