I have an mp3 file that I have just created from a WAV file. When you click on a button it loads the song. But for some reason it plays back at a slower speed. I messed around with the sample rates with my audio software and in one setting the playback speed became doubled instead of slower. What am I doing wrong?
I have other mp3s in that same folder and they play back just fine from the flash file.

Is there a specific smaple rate or codec or something I need to create an mp3 file from a wav file to play correctly through the flash player? The funny thing is that same mp3 plays just fine on Windows Media Player but plays slow through my flash file.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I figured it out through trial and error, experimentation and determination .
When exporting from a wav to an mp3 , make sure 44100HZ. If you use 48000 It will screw it up.

Hope this helps someone else.
Have good one!

I just gave myself a star. :p Oohhh.
