Strange one here, got me baffled....

Looking at Scoobie's post below, has anyone viewed his site in Mozilla 1.0?

Most of the .gifs don't display at all, none on the header section, none of the menu buttons etc, but some of the product pics do. In NS6.2 and IE6 I have no problems.

Any clues why? The links are all absolute. I'm using build 2002053012

Regards,
Graham

Hey Nate,

Thanks, but you only made me jealous, cos I've still got the problem! Here's a screenshot of what I get, shrunk and colour-reduced to minimise file size...

I've gone thru all the preferences, I've tried other sites and they all seem OK, it's just this one. I've reloaded the page, no change. Restarted the PC - no change.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Cheers,
Graham

In Mozilla 1.0 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020606 is look good. Since you are using Windows, I can't see any reasons why the gifs should not show.
Have you tried to look at the Gifs only? Here are some links to gifs on Scoobys site:

Problem solved - duh!

The caching setup was set to update "when page becomes out of date". I guess this must be a default, because I didn't set that.

I went into Preferences > Advanced > Cache

I selected the 1st option, "compare page in cache to page on network EVERY TIME I VIEW THE PAGE", and that cleared it up.

The reason I had the page without images in cache was because I did VIEW > Page Source to see the table attributes, and saved the source to my C: drive to play about with it.

I expected that doing a page reload would bring in up-to-date info from the website but it didn't.

Sorry for taking up folks' time, but maybe someone else will get trapped like I did.

Cheers,

Graham
