We sometimes have ports that go bad on the cards. Can somebody please tell me how to move a TN. Thanx

Copy the existing TN to the new TN
REQ: CPY 1

It will ask you for the DN, put in any unused DN, then go back and change the DN on the new TN to the original TN, and OUT the old TN.

Do not move it. Never use the move overlay. You can do it successfully but it requires removal of so many different things prior to the moves that it is simply useless. Doing it incorrectly will send the machine off into never-never land with massive corruption of data, etc.

Thanx for the fast reply. What Load is the "CPY1" command
in? Also how do you out a TN ? Thanx, again

eaiser command ld 20 mov the rest is clear, type, the the from tn and then the dest tn. if you use copy, you'll need to put a temp key 0 on the set and change it, then out the old one. the mov command bypasses those steps

I agree, the MOV command is easier, but I would disable the current TN (LD 32 DISU tn) prior to using the MOV command.
