My exchange server has become increasingly bogged down of late, and the MTA and other Exchange services are regularly shutting down. This is obviously causing a few problems.

I have added a new E: to my machine, which has plenty of free space on it. I know that you can select a path for all of your Database Paths, so i can set the new path to my E:, but it is OK to just go ahead and move the Private Information Store onto the new larger E: drive ??

Will this cause any problems with the current database etc.

Many thanks

Andy

It's alwasy best to use Optimizer to move the Exchange databases and log files. You'll need to run it out of hours as it stops the services whilst running.

Cheers Zbnet,

That appears to of worked a treat. Loads of disk space, and Exchange purring like a finely tuned engine. Well as much as an old Compaq Proliant 2500 can!!
