I am using Exchange 5.5 and would like to move the information store. I just got in a new SAN and would like to have the mailboxes on the larger, faster drives of the SAN. Anyone know how to simply point my mail server to the same information store, but at a different location?

You should run Performance Optimizer.
It will allow you to move the files to wherever you wish.
To run this, open a command prompt.
Change to the EXCHSRVR\BIN folder.
Run PERFWIZ.EXE
NOTE: Running Perfwiz.exe without the -r switch prompts you to shut down all of the Exchange services before you can view the file locations.
