Moving tables between DBs

We run SQL7 SP3
One of our users has added some tables to the wrong database. Is it possible to just copy the table and add it into the correct database, then delete the original table table?
Do I have to detach the table from the old database then reattach to the new one?
I have limited SQL experience if you haven't already guessed!

Cheers

You could use DTS to copy your table. Its an easy click and play (or click and pray) way

DTS?
And what would that be?
(Told you I don't know much about SQL!)

Hello again

Forgive my ignorance about DTS - went off and worked out how to use the export facility.
The tables were successfully exported to a new database. When I deleted the tables from the original DB, the tables in the new DB vanished also!
Why is this?

Cheers
