is there a single command to copy all the files on my site into the root folder?

select the root folder in local view and "put" them

See i have some files (mostly images) and stuff that arent in the root folder on my local machine and i want to copy all the files contained on my site to the root folder on my local machine. and reassociate dreamweaver so it fires all the images and links correctly.

In that case then no there isnt.

Best advice would be to drag and drop all of the files from within DW. Not going to be an easy option, esp if it is a large site, but get it right this time and an important lesson is leart for next. Set up your site structure from the start.

How true,

I mean i'm a big fan of procrastination - but when you have to redo your site - and the design many many times. Well, you know. "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!"
