Moving Exchange to a different drive?

Ok I was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem.

Basically we have a server which acted as a file/print/email server. Since then we have got another server to take over the file/print sharing.

Now, this has freed up 30GB of space on the drive where the file/print was stored.

Basically the Exchange drive is only 10GB, and I would like to transfer this over on to the other drive.

Does anyone know how I would reassigned exchange to look at the server's d: instead of its m:?

Any links to technical resources would be greatly appreciated.

If all you want to do is move the Exchange database files, run Perfwiz (in \exchsrvr\bin).

Hi

That is the correct way of moving your database. If i may make a suggestion.

Split your database and your logs to 2 different drives if you can. It will increase the speed on your system. Once you have run the preformance wizard you can force the changes as you would like them by changing the drive letter.

Hope this Helps
