Moving Exchange Databases

I am trying to move our exchange databases to another drive.

I move the files then go to move the location in System Manager but it says the Location already exists? (even though it is a completly different location!)

Has anyone else come accross this problem or know a solution.

Yes, you've overcomplicated it.

Put the files back where they were and don't move them with Explorer.

Use ESM to change the location and that is all. Exchange will do it all for you.
