Moving Citrix XP Data Store

Hello,

Does anyone have or know where I can get a procedure for moving a Citrix XP SQL data store to a new server the old server is now end of life. Both servers running Windows 2000.

We did this for our DR testing. I found the best way was to do a SQL backup of the directory and restore it on another server. Once complete, you will need to modify the ODBC settings on the existing servers in the farm to point to the new server (with chfarm or change the DNS). You can script this, or do it manually depending on how many srevers you have.

Hi,

You change the "DSN" not the "DNS" but that works, we did it recently and it worked a charm!

Ok thanks for that we have 4 servers at the moment so manualy changing the DSN shouldn't be too hard
