We had a vss server/db where the admin password was lost. We can still use it but want to move it to a new server/installation. is there a way to move the database between servers similar to sql server?

Moving a vss database to new server 1

Check It seems to work but doesn't copy the user list or access rights. The author does have a tool that can do that however. During the part where you create a 'db3', whatever password you assign to 'db3' will end up as the password to 'db2'. Hope this helps.
